There are days the Trucking has to wait...

There are days when the trucks just need to come second on my list of priorities and I have to come first.  As many of you may know, my husband is currently overseas and has left me with his trucking business.  I do the best I can to keep it running, but there are days when I just need to put aside the trucks and focus on something that I love to do...Today was one of those days...Had things taken care of to the point that I could spend a few hours crafting, especially since I haven't been able to do anything for over a week...So here are the cards I created today...Some I am in love with...others not so much...But, all is well in the crafting world!!  Enjoy and don't forget to leave some love!!

My FAVORITE!!!!

This is my first attempt at stitching a design...I don't care for this one too much, but ehh, have to start somewhere right....

Like I said I wasn't to impressed with the final result, but for the first time....

Not sure what I think of this one either...but ehh, kinda cute...

Short...Sweet...Simple...and a splash of color...

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE....THIS CARD!!!!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS CARD ALSO!!!!

Upclose of the stamp I colored in with Martha Stewart Glitter pens..So pretty!

Well hopefully you enjoyed these cards...I am hoping to maybe get a couple more done tonight, but we shall see I am kinda liking just relaxing now...Well...have a great night and hope to be back soon with some more creations!

Goodnight and Happy Crafting!!

  1. I love all the cards! You did a great job with the stitching card. You have to start somewhere and you will get better. Now you learned what to do differently. I really like the first card. I have to it's hard to pick a favorite but that one would be it.

  3. Katie the cards are very lovely. The butterfly is my favorite also and I really like the circle card. I appreciate the simplicity of the thank you card w/ purple backing--good flow of the colors.
Not to worry about "ability." You have been making cards/scrapping quite a bit longer then some! It is good to try, but to also know where your niche is.
I am glad you got to have this small retreat. It's therapeutic.
