GREETINGS MY FELLOW SCRAPBOOKIANS!
I am the type of person that HAS to be busy...I do better when there is ALWAYS something for me to do...
1. MOM!!! (This is my favorite job of all!)
2. WIFE!!! Not only a regular wife...but an ARMY wife!!!!!
3. Housekeeper (my least favorite job LOL)
4. Friend
5. Scrapbooker! (Next to my daughter, this is my most favorite thing to do, because my daughter at age 2 1/2 likes to make crafts also!)
6. Bookkeeper for my husbands trucking business... For anyone that knows me...this is the root of all my stress...Running a trucking business, which I know nothing about while my husband is on the other side of the world, protecting our freedom...This is my least (even more then the housekeeper job) favorite thing to do, but I do it, because I love him...
And NOW...
7. AVON REPRESENTATIVE!!!!! I love Avon and figured eh...might as well sell it and make a few extra bucks...kind of like my thinking with starting a scrapbooking business...I like it and if I can make a few bucks doing it...what do I have to loose!! SO...

Taking a break....
Well I was able to take a break from the trucks for a bit today and ended up creating a few cards.. So I will get right to them...Here ya go!
Card #1 "friend"
Maybe not my favorite again, but I have to remember....someone else might. LOL
Card #2 "HERO"
One of my FAVES by far!! Simple card, but for those of you that follow me, you know my husband is currently overseas so this has some extra meaning behind the card...Funny thing is when I began this card, it was going to be a Birthday Card....I started with just the red and blue stars and this is how it ended up...Pretty sure this is getting sent to a certain HERO of mine!
Up-close of the center: The HERO part is actually only part of the actual stamp, I really like how this turned out..Plus I stitched the papers together...I did it once and I loved how it turned out and now I am hooked on stitching by machine...not so much by hand...LOL
Card #3
This was a fun little card...
Card #4
I call this one my scrap card...I don't know why...it just reminds me of kind of a mod podge card of mix and match...I think it is fun...
Card #5....
I made this card this morning, and I posted a seperate blog about this card, but I wanted to make sure everyone saw it...I am donating 50% of all card proceeds to Relay for Life from the sale of any and all "Pink Ribbon" cards...see my earlier blog post for more information!
Well there you have it...My creations for the day...I should have taken a picture of my scraproom afterwards...IT IS A MESS!!!! Maybe I will get it RE-cleaned before I do more tomorrow...or maybe I will get my house cleaned in general before I do more tomorrow...Guess we will see right! LOL
Have a great night and HAPPY CRAFTING!!!!
The Scrapbox Raises Money and Awareness...
As I said yesterday, there are days when the trucking business needs to come in second place...I had all the trucks taken care of so I was able to escape and take care of me for a little while. I need those days every once in awhile to keep my sanity though...
Well if you have been following me either on Facebook or on my blog...many of you know that my step-son Kody lost his aunt, Tracy, a couple weeks ago after she bravely fought cancer for 6 years...Kody and his family are very much involved with the Relay for Life here where we live so I decided to help Kody raise money and awareness to help continue Tracy's fight I would begin fundraising myself...I have decided to help Kody, I am going to sell all "Pink" cards for $5.50 and 50% of that will be donated to his family's Relay Team...If you are interested in donating to him directly to help him reach his goal please click on the Title of this blog and you will be directed to his fundraising page. OR click HERE!!!! What is a "Pink Card" you ask? Well here is an example....
This is just an example...a "Pink Card" is ANY card with a Pink Ribbon... Not all, thankfully, are sympathy...Hope, Courage, Faith...Show your support to those you love that have been affected by this horrible disease and help raise money and awareness for cancer research!
Thanks for stopping and happy crafting! A second blog is on its way with 4 more cards!!!!

There are days the Trucking has to wait...
There are days when the trucks just need to come second on my list of priorities and I have to come first. As many of you may know, my husband is currently overseas and has left me with his trucking business. I do the best I can to keep it running, but there are days when I just need to put aside the trucks and focus on something that I love to do...Today was one of those days...Had things taken care of to the point that I could spend a few hours crafting, especially since I haven't been able to do anything for over a week...So here are the cards I created today...Some I am in love with...others not so much...But, all is well in the crafting world!! Enjoy and don't forget to leave some love!!
My FAVORITE!!!!
This is my first attempt at stitching a design...I don't care for this one too much, but ehh, have to start somewhere right....

This first one features Unity Stamp Co KOM LOVE this set...So many different stamps great for ALL occasions! On the sentiment I lifted up the middle and then tacked down the ends for a wavy look...(I couldn't get a good picture that showed it off, so you will just have to use your imagination...
Saint Patricks day Birthday Card!!! Do you know anyone who has a birthday durng March or around St. Patricks Day? Here is the perfect card for you!!! I really like how it turned out! My 2 1/2 year old helped me out with the embossing! She ran it through my Texture Boutique for me...She loves doing that thing, she things she is pretty hot stuff when she does. This first one features Unity Stamp Co KOM LOVE this set...So many different stamps great for ALL occasions! Do you knwo a fun loving little boy that is turning 10? Or a girl for that matter...Don't ask me why I specified an actual age on this card...I just did...I think it turned out cute...

WHY did I wait so long!!!!????
How many of you have a Xyron Create-a-Sticker? How many of you know how great it is? At least I think so! If you don't agree, tell me your favorite! I bought one of these a little over a month ago and just used it for the first time tonight... I have been gluing all my little letters for so long...and if you have one of these little critters...you know how terribly expensive they are! LOL A whole what $8.00!!!! Why have I just now decided to do this? It worked wonderful! And best of all my fingers were free of sticky glue that ends up getting all over my layout! Would you like to see what I made?!
Funny thing about the pictures in this layout...Christmas 2009 my parents surprised me with one of the best Christmas presents ever...my Cricut Expression! I was SOOOOOO excited!!! I wanted to forget the rest of the present opening and start that puppy up right then and there...unfortunately Christmas 2009 was also the Christmas of a wonderful horrible blizzard...We were out of power and snowed in for a few days..so there my prized posession sat...Anyway...My step-son Kody bugged me and bugged me wanting to make something and being the selfish person I am (NOT, if you know me) well anyway, I finally let him make something after I had a chance to fiddle around first...And what did the wonderful big brother want to make?! An award for Kylie...a #1 Sister award..and only a #1 Brother does something like that!! He was in heaven!!! He actually got a Cricut for Christmas 2010 from his mom and step-dad to my understanding...
Well thanks for stopping by!!! Here is a funny that I will leave you with...
Layout using my new Xyron!
A sledding we will go |
Here are a few of the letters I ran through the Xyron...I think I am addicted! LOL
I really like my cute little purple sled also..Gotta love the Cricut don't you!!!
I made a layout last night also that I haven't shared yet..so here you go...
Well thanks for stopping by!!! Here is a funny that I will leave you with...
